CST Techniques, CFT Therapy, LMT, IAYT, RYT-800 hours

My life’s passion is to partner with you, in your own journey of well-being and health. With over 23 years of holistic healing experience, I serve clients of all ages and needs.

Through the modalities of Craniosacral, Craniosacral Fascia Release, Yoga Therapy, Myofascial Release and Lymphatic Drainage, I connect with your body’s innate wisdom to facilitate your own healing and wholeness.

My story…

I was drawn to study Craniosacral Therapy (CST) after witnessing its effectiveness in treating my 4 year old son’s chronic ear infections. After 4 CST sessions, his ears were completely cleared and no tubes were needed. He’s almost 29 now! Impressed with these results, I arranged several sessions for my then 6 year old daughter to ease her fascial tension, from what I would later find out to be tongue and lip ties. She benefitted greatly from CST and has continued with periodic CST sessions throughout her childhood, teens and adult life. Intrigued, I then tried a session for myself and was pleased to feel less pain and to see better posture I have congenital hip dysplasia and scoliosis. And because CST works directly with the Central Nervous System, my autoimmune symptoms ( Hashimoto’s, leaky gut, rash flare ups) significantly reduced. I found that CST’s gentle, whole body, light touch approach were aligned with my holistic way of living and belief in working with the body’s innate wisdom for self -correction.

It’s because I witnessed and experienced the effectiveness of CST, and later lymphatic drainage, that I became a CST and lymphatic drainage practitioner. I studied CST with the Upledger Institute, beginning in 2016, working with adults, teens and animals. I am a certified Upledger practitioner, at the CST- Techniques level. My joy is in helping others, so I wanted to expand these effective healing modalities to infants and children. I completed CST infant beginner and advanced clinical training at the Carol Gray Center for CST Studies and in Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, Gillespie Approach.

In 1999, I tried yoga to manage chronic hip and back pain. I found that the specific adaptive methods of yoga therapy, significantly reduced pain and improved posture. Thus, I was inspired to study more about yoga therapy. I am a Member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) & Yoga Alliance.  For over 23 years, I guided people with conditions such as breast cancer, scoliosis, osteoporosis, traumatic brain injury, musculoskeletal issues, autoimmune conditions, trauma, anxiety, surgery recovery, pain, back care… in adaptive yoga - tailoring each session to their specific needs.

I am an avid volunteer - providing yoga therapy and CST for babies, children, teens, adults, and animals for many years, in the US and other countries. My professional and volunteer work includes trauma -emotional, medical, physical, sexual abuse, and PTSD.

My first career was as a CPA and Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the consumer products sector. I was known for thoroughness, pragmatism and forging strong relationships. I bring these qualities to my holistic healing work.  I live in Montclair. I enjoy hiking, baking, and visiting with my two adult children.
